the big 8

Those who feel led by the Spirit to join Quest are invited to sign what we call "The Big 8." Those who do so are committing to building Quest in its first phase.  When people join the the Quest to participate in God's mission, they make eight commitments ("The Big 8"):
 
  1. Pursue a relationship with Jesus.
  2. Consistently attend weekend experiences and bridge events.
  3. Create an impact list. Begin to pray for the people on your list and invest in their lives.
  4. Have a servant’s heart – step up and become part of a ministry team.
  5. Invest in the kingdom financially by returning tithes and offerings.
  6. Build healthy relationships with God, your family, and each other.
  7. Be flexible and willing to experience change as the church morphs - guided by the Holy Spirit into new ways of living and being.
  8. Pray regularly for the pastors and your church.  Pray that a great number of people will believe and turn to the Lord (Acts 11:21).  
All participants in the Quest are sent by God as missionaries to the communities in which they live and work.
