Pastor Hartzheim has been in ministry for over 30 years. For more than 20 years, he served his country as an Air Force Chaplain. God used him in various locations around the world to include Turkey, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina; and stateside locations in Louisiana, Georgia and Wyoming. While serving in the military, Pastor Hartzheim learned how to work effectively in a multi-faith multi-cultural environment. His final assignment was as the Wing Chaplain at Whiteman Air Force Base located about 50 miles east of Kansas City.
He has also served civilian congregations in Louisiana, Georgia, and Missouri.
Pastor Hartzheim is married and has two grown children. His hobbies include travel, hiking, woodworking, and antique or classic cars. Prior to his call to full-time ministry, he worked as mechanic, school-bus driver, carpenter, pipefitter, plumber, electrician, truck driver, warehouseman, forklift operator, and many more. He knows a little about a lot of things… just enough to be dangerous.
But his passion is participating in God’s mission to love and bless all creation.
